Vosnee Romanee aux Reas 2022

TASTING NOTE:Certified organic.Midcherry red.DarkerfruitedthantheClosdeMagny, evenmore savoury. Yetthe dark and dark-red fruit is fragrant and open. Compact, firm, the tannins suggesting this needsmore time to evolve in the bottle but it's already harmonious. Chewy, dry, but with enough fruit to keep the tannins in their place. (JH)

Mid crimson purple. Not yet showing a lot of detail on the nose. The tannins are perhaps a little too firm for the fruit. Sound but the firmer feel slightly impedes the potential magic of this site. Drink from 2027-2033. Tasted: February 2024. (JM)
