Mid cherry red and slightly darker than Sous La Cabotte 2022. Deep, open aroma of mostly darkred fruit but also a suggestion of blackberries and a dusting of oak spice. Firmer and more chewy than the Sous La

Mid crimson purple. Not yet showing a lot of detail on the nose. The tannins are perhaps a little too firm for the fruit. Sound but the firmer feel slightly impedes the potential magic of this site. Drink from 2027-2033.

A blend of two premiers crus: Cloux and Vauvry. The aromas are more fruit-driven than the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune 2022 just tasted but there's still a flinty aroma and a hint of toasty oak. There's gentle and pure citrus.

Located at the northern section of En Charlemagne. A clear pale fresh colour, a very light reduction – cauliflower suggests François. Not extrovert, and in a sector where later picking is not a bad idea.
